Folk Sanctuary is a folk-pop-world music group with creative, blissful song writing and talented accomplished musicianship, featuring flute, 2 acoustic guitars, tabla hand percussion and vocals on some songs. The players in Folk Sanctuary came together over the past year to create a very special blend of music. The music is about half instrumental (lending itself to captivating grooves) and half with well-crafted vocal lyrics and melody.
A true Prairie mélange, Folk Sanctuary's players have heritage and musical influences from, Saskatchewan, Greece, Quebec, Pakistan, Ireland and the west coast. With Saskatchewan as the unifying link it makes for an amazing musical journey.
